Friday, January 14, 2022, Issue 231: Happy Friday!

While we are living in the middle of these uncertain times, I am grateful for keeping my hands and my mind busy!
Isn't it wonderful that we can sit back, relax and enjoy ourselves doing something that we love whether you are knitting, crocheting, spinning or weaving!

It is sweater weather, what is on your needles?

Yarrow designed by Marie-Amélie Madignier is a slightly oversized, circular yoke pullover worked seamlessly from the top-down. Inspired by the classic Scandinavian style, Yarrow is a great project with which to perfect your stranded colourwork.

The Fibre Co has released Yarrow by Marie-Amélie Madignier designed to be knit using The Fibre Co Cumbria Worsted.

The photo shows the original design in The Fibre Co Cumbria Worsted shade Catbells as the main colour and St. Bees Beach and White Heather as the contrast colours.

My Magnolia Bloom Tunic has been growing slowly but surely!

It is now 39cm from the underarms. The pattern says the body length is 58cm before the hem which will be too long for my 5 foot height.

I have tried it on a few times already and it has less ease than I want, however, based on my swatch it will grow. My fingers are crossed that my swatch did not lie!
