It isn't very warm outside especially with that blustery wind but if I look in my garden out front and out back, the tulips, allium and lilies are all sprouting up their tips! Spring flowers will be here soon!
Melanie Berg has a new pattern out…Pink is for Power. Use “pink” for a 20% discount until the end of April or pay full price. All proceeds will go to a breast cancer charity because in 2021, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Also - join the KAL! running from April 1 until May 15, 2022.
Melanie:
Did you know that one in eight women will receive a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime?
In 2021, I was one of them.
One day I found a strange spot in my breast, and shortly after I made an appointment with my doctor to have it checked out. The following weeks were a nightmare, full of fear and uncertainty.
Today, after completing my treatment, I can say that I am healthy again and looking forward to my new life!
In the last months I have learned a lot. Above all, I would like to pass this on to you: You are not alone, and you are stronger than you think.
I am hoping, with this design, to raise awareness of breast cancer. Especially to those younger women who may not be in a screening program, not to be afraid to examine themselves on a regular basis as early detection of this disease is so important.

WIPs and FOs
Last week, I was contemplating casting on a Hello From My Colors Crop by Jessie Maed Designs. I decided on using SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock in Natural and a Party of Five in Spring Fling.
I definitely don’t have a finished object (FO) this week but I have started the yoke. The colours are making me happy!
I cast on Lunae by Natasja Hornby last week but had very little knit last Friday.I decided to use Tukuwool Fingering because I have almost a full skein of the three colours above left from two of my finished projects. I should only need one moore skein of each.
I have had this in my favourites since I watched the episode of Cady Jax Knits podcast where Jackie showed off her fiinished Lunae on their podcast 17!
This is Jackie’s (dominirose)’s Lunae from her Ravelry project page.
