Today was a perfect day out for a change even if we could still complain - a bit too warm! It is the perfect time to put on the summer tee you made last year and cast on another.
What summer tees are on your radar?
The Poet tee by Sari Nordlund is knit seamlessly from the top down. The neck shaping is worked flat after which the rest of the tee is worked in the round. The lace pattern is knitted on both front and back of the sweater. The raglan sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round. The neckband is worked last by picking up stitches along the cast-on edge.
The Poet tee is knit with DK weight yarn, but you can also substitute it for knitting with a strand of fingering weight merino held together with a strand of lace weight silk mohair.
This tee is the sister of one of her most popular patterns, Poet, which was originally published in the Laine magazine issue 6.

The Weekend Cami by Aimee She is a sleek, simple tank top with a moderate V-neck front, and a shallow V-neck back. It’s constructed top down and intended to be worn with negative ease at the chest and slight positive ease over the high hip. This cami was designed with a wider front than back to facilitate this close fit, and also includes an optional curvy view that has a wider front than the straight view, and optional bust darts, so that it can fit effortlessly for those with a larger bust size.
This is a cami with modest bra coverage, and is designed to be layered, and, with accessorizing, can be dressed up or down easily. Wear it any day of the week, but I love it simply, over jeans and for any weekend activity.

FOs and WIPs
Yesterday afternoon, this was my progress on my My Lacey Loop Tee by Other Loops_.
The back is worked to the armholes and I have picked up to knit both the left front and the right fronts before joining them together. I am holding one strand of BC Garn Tussah Tweed (100% tussah silk) and one strand of Gist Yarns Sero Silk Noil (100% silk) together.
This was my progress last Friday on my Misurina by Caitlin Hunter. I used using BC Garn Allinowhich is a blend of 50% Linen, 50% Cotton for this project.
I finished it on Sunday! I think it was one of my quicker knits, especially since I messed up on the chart originally when I completely missed the cable section of the chart and had to frog back.
I chose to knit the purl dots instead of the eyelets.
I knit the sleeves before making mine to about 9 inches before working the hem ribbing to use up as much of my 5 balls of Allino as I could instead of 7 inches. I have only a few yards left.
