This week has been both grey and sunny, chilly and also hot and humid! Let's hope we have a great weekend ahead of us where we can take advantage of it to spend it outdoors enjoying some sun while sitting and knitting or spending some time gardening.
5 years ago Tanis Lavallee published her Rock It Tee pattern which featured a beautiful v-neck, i-cord edgings, and was knit by striping merino with mohair for a light as air, ethereal knit. For her Pop Rock Pullover, she has kept all of those beautiful details but switched up the construction and added a long sleeve option. It is a new take on an old fave!

Summer Snow Tee by Joanna Ang is a cropped top is knitted top down, starting from the back neck and working flat with increases until enough stitches are added for the body width. The back is then continued until the underarm. Stitches are picked up along the edges of the increased rows to knit each front, with additional increases to shape the front neck. Once both fronts reach the desired width, they are joined with cast-on stitches for the front neck and worked down to the underarm. At this point, the front and back are joined and work in the round until the hem. Finally, the neckband and armhole bands are worked by picking up stitches around the neck and armhole edges.
SIZE GUIDE
To pick the correct size, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust. The suggested ease is 20 to 35 cm / 7¾ to 13¾”. Sample shown in size 1 with 23 cm / 9” positive ease.
Please note that the finished measurements can only be achieved if the tee is knitted in the correct gauge.

CONSTRUCTION
This lightweight, short-sleeve tee is knit top-down in the round (in one seamless piece). It features a circular yoke - with short row shaping along the back neckline for a comfortable fit. The vintage zig-zag details are worked with a needle two sizes larger to balance the gauge with the stockinette stitch. When the yoke is completed, it’s separated from the sleeves, and the lower body is worked in the round to the bottom edge. The sleeves are worked last.

I really like how my Misurina by Caitlin Hunter using BC Garn Allino is coming along. This is how far I was on Saturday.
I separated the body and the sleeves on Sunday and decided to do the purl dots on the body instead of the eyelet option.
Yesterday, I cast on my Lacey Loop Tee by Other Loops_ that I had been eyeing since the pattern came out. I had even decided on the yarn that I would use so yesterday, it jumped my queue!
I am making the third size and 3.75 mm needles to get gauge. I am holding one strand of BC Garn Tussah Tweed (100% tussah silk) and one strand of Gist Yarns Sero Silk Noil (100% silk) together. I finished the short rows on the back and am working on the back to the armhole depth section.
