There are so many summer tee patterns to be found on Ravelry! Xyris by Audrey Borrego is a light tee with a graphic lace all over the back and is a free Ravelry download! The body is knit in the round from the bottom up until the armholes. Front and back are then separated and knit flat, continuing the lace motif on the back and shaping a low scoop neckline on the front. Shoulders are joined with a three needle bind-off and stitches are picked up along the armholes and neckline to finish them in a large ribbing pattern.
With simple stitches, the lace is worked on both RS and WS rows, with a twisted stitch structure that makes it easier to read.
The loose fit and simple shape make this tee an easy to wear summer or versatile mid-season garment.

It is worked in one piece from the bottom up. Fronts and back are then divided at the underarm and worked separately. FOs and WIPs
On Monday, I picked up my Aal Ower Toorie and worked on the next repeat of the chart.
By last night, I was ready to start the decreases for the crown.
Here's a close up. I love the purples and the pattern on this year's Shetland Wool Week hat.
Last Thursday, the four granny squares for my Geddy Tee by Tanis Lavallee were finished. I joined them using a flat slip stitch join and then picked up for the back. I am using Navia Bummull as my main yarn.
I finished the back and front sections and short rows to the underarm separations. I knit the backs and fronts to 6 inches from the edge of the granny squares and not the cast on neck edge.
I knit this far on the body before setting it aside to work on my Aal Ower Toorie.
The body with all of the stitches hasn’t moved quite as quickly! Isn't this going to be a pretty top?
