Gist Duet Cotton/Linen Weaving Yarn

A beautiful, textured and versatile yarn designed especially for weavers. 2 slubby plies of US grown cotton + 1 ply of European tow linen. Duet is strong enough for warp, soft enough for garments, and hardy enough for kitchen towels. It gets softer and lovelier with each washing. 

• 55% European tow linen and 45% USA-grown cotton
• 600 yards per 4 oz cone
• 2,390 yards per pound (similar to 5/2)
• Recommended sett: 12-16 epi
• Machine wash delicate and dry low or hand wash and air dry (air drying preserves the life of linen longer)
  
• Warp and weft-suitable for shaft and rigid heddle looms
• Spun and dyed in North Carolina
