Malibu Shawl by Isabell Kraemer Ravelry Pattern

Malibu is a symmetrical triangular shawl, worked back and forth from the top down. Starting with a garter tab cast on, stitches are increased every RS row at both edges and at the center of the shawl. Instructions for both a 2-color and a 3-color version are included in this pattern. The combination of a cute and easy slip stitch pattern (working with one color on any given row, changing colors every 2 rows), a wide striped section and the sportive 3 x 1 ribbing give this shawl a sophisticated yet casual look.

Modification notes
Each section can be shortened or lengthened by working more or less repeats of the pattern repeats. The ribbing section can be enlarged by working full repeats (rows 1 to 8) of the ribbing pattern. Be aware that the amount of yarn needed will change with each alteration.
