Shipping & returns


Please take a moment to review our policies below. We reserve the right to update or modify these policies at any time and encourage you to review them whenever you use our site.

For shipping, Canada Post is used for all orders. Orders are shipped out within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays with the exception of special orders. If an item is out of stock or if there is a question about your order, we will contact you either by email and/or telephone. Please note that Sue2Knits is not responsible for packages that do not arrive. Any customs charges on US or International packages are the responsibility of the buyer.

Heavy, bulky, or fragile items that require special packaging (e.g., umbrella swifts, certain books) are NOT eligible for free shipping at our discretion.

Sue2Knits is NOT responsible for errors in your address. Please make sure to enter your address properly when ordering. If you have made a mistake in your address when placing an order, please contact us immediately using the contact form. If your order has already been fulfilled before you noticed that the address was incorrect, you MUST contact your local post office and have them redirect the package. When a package is returned to us due to an address error or if it was unclaimed / not signed for / unpayed customs charges, we will refund the cost of the physical items only. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.  

FREE SHIPPING OFFER - Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts. Only one discount can be applied per order, whether it is a discount, loyalty points to be redeemed or free shipping over $250.

For Free Local Pickup:

Free Local Pickup can be selected in the Shipping Options.

For delivery within Canada:

Orders within Canada are shipped by Expedited Parcel; they are trackable and insured up to $100. We use EasyPost which calculates the cost for shipping your order. You can choose to upgrade your shipping method or not.

For orders of $250.00 or more before taxes – FREE SHIPPING!

For delivery to the Continental US:

Untracked orders to the US are sent Small Package Air; they are not trackable or insured. Tracked Parcels are sent via Tracked Packet. If you want to add insurance, please let us know in the Comment section on checkout, create a ticket through the "My Account" section (or call or email us).  We use EasyPost which calculates the cost for shipping your order. You can choose to upgrade your shipping method or not.

For orders of $250.00 or more before taxes – FREE SHIPPING!

For International delivery including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico:

Orders to international locations other than the Continental US are sent Air Mail if less that 2 kilograms. Orders greater than 2 kilograms are sent via Ground. International orders are not trackable or insured. If insurance is desired, please leave a note in the Comment Section on checkout (or call or e-mail us).

Please note that orders over 2 kg that are sent Expresspost with tracking and insurance can cost between $100 and $120. Should additional fees apply, we will contact you before processing your order.


If you're not satisfied with your purchase, unused yarn in it's original condition within 90 days of purchase may be returned for an exchange or refund once the merchandise has been received by us.

  • Shipping fees to return items will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • When we receive your item, we will issue you a store credit that can be used at any time.
  • We cannot accept returns on books, patterns, needles, notions, or sale items.
  • We are happy to accept returns at our store.
