Yesterday's iffy weather followed by sleet and then cold made it a good day to get cozy and knit. Are you knitting sweater weather garments or are you anticipating spring and planning your warm weather knits while you work on your wips?
As you might know, I happen to love Caitlin Hunter's designs!
Northerly is a top-down circular yoke sweater featuring colourwork, cables and lace. It was loosely inspired by classic Scandinavian designs and the colors of Alaska in the winter. Her sample was knit with elbow length sleeves and a cropped body, but these are adjustable to suit your preference!
The pattern and any of her self-published patterns are 20% off using the code SWEATERWEATHER until February 21, 2023 on Ravelry.
SIZES: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) {7, 8, 9}

Helena (IgnorantBliss) knit her test Northerly with Tukuwool Fingering.
BTknits test knit Northerly used The Fibre Company Amble in Scafell Pike as her main colour.
The Gemini Jumper by This.Bird.Knits looks like completely different sweaters when knit with two colours or with one. The body is worked in the round from the bottom up. At the underarm, the fronts and back are separated and worked flat. After shoulder and neck shaping, the shoulder seams are joined and sewn together. Stitches are picked up around the armhole opening for the sleeves, which are knit in the round down to the cuff. NOTE: The chart for the body and sleeves is slightly different.

Pommery by the Berroco Design Team is this week's free pattern download from Berroco. It is knit using 2 balls of Berroco Millefiori Light.
Shimmer and shine with this simple dropped stitch pattern cowl in Millefiori Light. Pommery uses yarn overs which are then dropped to create the fun wavy texture. Millefiori Light adds just a hint of luster to the garment. The wool and acrylic blend is soft, smooth, and comes in an array of gleaming colors.

FOs and WIPs
I don't have any finished projects this week but here is my progress shot on Sunday of my Drawing Sweater by Tomomi Yoshimoto that I has been on my needles!
If you haven't been following along, I used The Fibre Company Amble in White Heather held double with Garnstudio Drops Kid Silk in 38 Chalk for my CC. I used Jamieson & Smith 2 ply Jumper Weight in FC11 for MC1. The Fibre Co. Amble in Helvellyn for MC2 and Buttermere for MC3. When I started MC3, I decided to add a strand of Shibui Lunar in Pollen.
The inspiration for my sweater is the one knit by nayus on Ravelry (@thedragonknitter).
About half of my hem ribbing has been knit so maybe I’ll be able to start a sleeve tonight. I knit the body to 8.5 inches instead of 7 inches before starting the hem ribbing. This is such an incredibly beautiful pattern.
