Are you enjoying your summer so far? I am even though it has been hot, humid and just bit more wet than I like! It definitely makes it easy to sit back, relax and knit, knit, knit or make, make, make!
Two beautiful new pattern releases caught my eye!
Field Sweater by Camilla Vad is a soft and fine sweater with a beautiful grain pattern on the yoke. It is knit from the top down seamlessly in the round. To celebrate the release, you will get 20% off the pattern until Sunday, July 23 at Midnight (Copenhagen time).

Camay (Purlificknitter) knit her test knit with short sleeves.
For the yoke, she held a strand of mohair double with her main yarn. For a similar look, you could use Rowan Cotton Cashmere or Garnstudio Drops Lima and Drops Kid Silk for the mohair.
Su Yan (thedragonknitter) knit her version using a tweedy yarn. For a similar tweedy effect, use The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light or Rowan Felted Tweed.
True Nature by Stephanie Lotven is 60% off until August 20th at 11:59 EDT. The True Nature tee is a combination of two of her favorite knitting techniques: engaging lace and relaxing stockinette! The lace yoke of this tee was designed to look like the petals of a flower opening around your neck.

WIPs and FOs
Since last week, I have finished the body and the ribbing on my Aallokko Sweater test knit!
I love my Aallokko but I also love Lucinda (@monttricot)’s dark version too! We both used the test knit requested yarn, Tukuwool DK. Isn't it amazing how different they look?
Kate recommends that you block your cardigan before sewing on the buttons so I decided to interrupt my progress on my sleeve to spray block my Serkinet Cardigan by Kate Davies. My buttons are now sewn on. The sleeves are moving along slowly because I keep working on the other WIPs!
If you are wondering, I steam blocked to minimize the curling before taking this photo of my Sunshine Coast by Heidi Kirrmaier.
I have 9 rounds to go before I separate the body and the sleeves. I knit my first Sunshine Coast using Berroco Remix Light. I knit this one using Juniper Moon Zooey.
KNIT GROUP AND GALLERY
Darlene’s Pressed Flowers by Amy Christoffers is knit using a Kit from the shop. Yarn is Berroco Ultra Alpaca in 62100 Eiderdown and Lang Yarns Frida in 05 Teaparty.

Cecilia finished two Artifact Hats by Erica Heusser using Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in Librarian’s Dream and Whiskey Barrel reversing the MC and CC for the second hat.
Debbie (swifty849)’s beautiful brioche shawl is Rebel by Leslie Anne Robinson.
This is some of what Sandi (sandima) has been spinning with the SweetGeorgia Advent (Fibre) Calendar that she received at Christmas using her Turkish Drop Spindle!
This is the Weaving a Dream scarf that Allison (AKBC) made at the July 9th Rigid Heddle Weaving Workshop 2 using Berroco Ultra Alpaca.
Leslie (lcritch) likes to knit in multiples!
She knit six Classic Knitted Tank Top by Wannipa Yunker.
All six are knit with Berroco Remix Light.
Leslie (lcritch) took the first photo while they were all on her needles. The second she took while she was packing for a trip.
Jocelyne (jocblais) finished this pair of sweet little socks using a basic kids sock pattern.
