Summer is not quite officially here but I hope you are making use of cottons, cotton blends and linens or fingering weight yarns for some summer knits to wear!
Joji Locatelli has two new patterns out, this Sotti Il Sole and Solare that were designed with Italy in mind. Get 30% off on both patterns if you purchase them at the same time. This summer shawl captures the essence of leisurely days and balmy evenings, offering a graceful accessory for warm weather.
In the realm of simplicity, true beauty resides…
As I envisioned this shawl, I found myself strolling along ancient streets and sun-drenched terraces, adorned in the elegance of a modest sundress and savoring the delicate effervescence of prosecco.
In those moments, all I needed was this understated shawl, gracefully draped across my shoulders, embracing the essence of carefree wanderings.
Sotto il Sole follows a traditional path. Its central spine serves as a foundation, growing with each right-side row as stitches multiply along both edges and either side of the spine.
Evoke the spirit of timeless elegance as you embark on this knitting journey, where simplicity intertwines with timeless tradition.

Samantha Guerin’s Pampas Tee is her go-to basic summer top. Save 15% with the code PAMPAS15 until midnight June 21, 2023.
An airy lace yoke and wide I-Cord trimmed neckline keep this tee breathable. Top down construction is easily modified to create the perfect look just for you.

Additional yardage required if lengthening yoke, body and/or sleeves.
The left and right fronts are finished and I am working on the upper back on my Serkinet by Kate Davies Designs. This twisted-stitch cardigan is given a dramatic silhouette with its puffed sleeves and a cropped length. In old Scots, a serkinet is a bodice or jerkin.
This pattern has actually been much easier to knit than it looks!
I have one more row to go on my first lace chart repeat of several on my Lemon Spritz by Marie Green for the Olive Knits 4 day KAL starting June 30th.
I have the last clue still to do on my The More You Gnome by Sarah Schira for her MKAL 12.
I shouldn’t be casting on another project but I liked the look of this when I saw this post on Instagram by Tukuwool so much I applied for and will be test knitting the Aallokko sweater in Tukuwool DK for Tiina.
