Happy Easter Weekend! Today the sun is shining but it is not really warm out so my fingers are crossed that we will have wonderful weather for the weekend!
Rosemary (Romu) Hill has updated one of her earlier patterns, Taygete, with a new and clearer format and slightly different construction method. FREE through the end of day, 1 April, Pacific time with code SpringTreat. Pronounced: Tay-EE-jet-ay
The shawl is a study in tranquility. Designed in stripes and lace to go with everything in your closet, the inner triangle is worked side to side, with stitches easily picked up in the yarn-over loops around the shaped triangle, and then knit down in lace. A picot edging is worked around the entire shawl.

The Link Sweater by Tomomi Yoshimoto combines crochet and knitting. The four-leaf clover motifs are worked with crochet hooks, and the other parts are worked with knitting needles. The construction is rather unique and it starts from the bottom of the yoke up, then the other parts are worked top-down, which allows you to try the sweater on and choose the length and type of the neck as well as the hem and sleeves.

Note: The joining round, which is shown here in the MC, is included in the yardage for the granny squares. If you are planning multicoloured granny squares with the joining round worked in your MC like my samples, approximately 230 (250, 275, 450, 360, 400) yds of your “granny square” yardage will be in your MC - so you’ll need to factor that into your MC yardage requirements.
YARN SUGGESTIONS: Rowan Felted Tweed, Tukuwool DK, Drops Lima

I have been a little under the weather the last few weeks so haven't been up to too much knitting but my Turtle Dove II by Espace Tricot is off my needles! I still have a few ends to sew in and to block it.
I cast it on after our First Top Down Pullover Class started. Originally I was going to knit it using the pattern yarn Drops Air or use one of the Turtle Dove II Kits available. I decided to knit a summer version using Berroco Remix in the smallest size for less ease but is still 45.5 inches wide.
The Turtle Dove by Espace Tricot that I knit my mom used the original pattern which has a slightly larger gauge.
