Mother's Day is this weekend, that special day when moms are honoured with brunch, breakfast in bed, flowers and anything to show our love! Well for us yarn lovers, forget the flowers because your Mom wants yarn or something related to passion for making! Of course, we also have Gift Cards!
Derecho, a simple and flattering tee in Berroco Remix Light is the newest DropShip Project of the Week from Berroco in the USA. Unfortunately, their program where you can order kits from your LYS and have it shipped to you from them is not available here in Canada. However, this is one kit I would be able to fullfill because I carry the yarn!!
Bust—34 (37-40-43-46-49-52-55-58)"
Berroco Remix Light (100 g): 2(3-3-3-3-3-4-4-4) balls #6993 Pepper
Kit will include balls of Remix Light and the printed pattern. Choose any colour in stock and I will put together your kit.
This seamless tee begins at the neck and is worked topdown. Easy eyelet stitches shape the yoke and add decoration to the neckline at the same time. It is shown above in size 37".

I love Espace Tricot’s patterns and this one doesn’t disappoint! This one is Luna, a simple top-down sweater featuring just enough subtle twisted-rib texture to elevate the soft and pretty stockinette stitch background to sophisticated heights. The gentle cascade of a loose turtleneck and generous proportions of the body and sleeves make Luna an easy to wear sweater that will have you looking both pulled together and completely at ease in any setting.
Luna is designed to be knit holding two yarns together, a strand of fingering and a strand of mohair/silk. Please note that the two yarns are held together throughout. Also, while the length of this sweater is easily customizable, be aware that adding length may affect yardage requirements. This does not mean that you can't knit it using a single strand of yarn. Angela is planning to knit this using Ancient Arts Reinvent in French Bordeaux which has just enough mohair in it to give it a subtle halo!
Veer Cowl by Lisa Mutch of Northbound Knitting is free today until May 10, 2020. This cowl and shawl below are both simple 3 colour designs using DK weight yarn.
Veer by Lisa Mutch is a triangular shawl featuring dropped stitch mesh, garter stitches and a centre spine.
WIP's and FO's
When I took these photos I hadn’t blocked yet but I am happy with my finished Antonia by Cocoknits knit using Berroco Elba.
To finish my cardigan, I used Line Buttons by Katrinkles. You can find my notes for my project here.
This is the progress on my City Limits by Tanis Lavallee yesterday morning. This morning I was working on the i-cord bind off of the one sleeve. I am wearing it with the stockinette side out here mainly because all of the yarn waiting to be woven in are on the other side! I must admit that I am still undecided as to which side I like best.

Hi there!
Your blog is so inspiring and so timely.
I like the way you pair yarns with Ravelry patterns and showcase finished or not projects.
