Patti (@patnelann) wearing her not yet blocked Sommerknus knit using Navia Bummull; Jocelyne (jocblais) is wearing her Sommerknus by knit using Garnstudio Drops Belle; Donna (Donna775) is wearing her Sommerknus knit using Hikoo Cobasi; my (@Sue2Knits) Sommerknus was knit using Sandnes Garn Line; Sharon (knitsforyou) knit her beautiful Sommerknus holding two yarns together; Jan (mrsjanknits) is wearing her Sommerknus knit using Sandnes Garn Line in Sarin; Margarete is wearing her first Sommerknus knit using Ancient Arts Passion 8 held double with the leftovers from a Koigu Lace Pencil Box; Margarete knit her second Sommerknus using Hedgehog Fibres Sock in Teacup.
Joni by Natasja Hornby is shown here with the test knit by Dina of The Knitting Place in New York. Joni is a modern interpretation of the quintessential vintage lace blouse. She’s playful and stylish, and easy to dress up or down. She will look just as good with tattered old jeans as with a summer skirt, and take you from day to night all summer long.
Joni is the perfect summer knit. There’s enough soothing stockinette to let your mind wander, but the lovely details (that lace panel!, the rounded hem!) ensure a fun and engaging knitting journey.

FOs and WIPs
I have been working on the Renaissance Sweater by Elinor Mortensen. which I decided to knit using Navia Silkiull which is 75% Wool, 25% Silk. On Monday, I separated the sleeves and the body.
The chart is more than half done! Do you love this intricate design as much as I do?
I taught myself to crochet before I taught myself to knit. The last finished crocheted cardi I made was the one for my eldest who was born 40 years ago. I decided to cast on Ariana by Amy Christoffers.
My first granny square took be longest and after I measured for gauge I realized I used CC1 instead of CC2 for round 5.
My first square now has the colours the way I want them. I decided to use Stolen Stitches Nua Worsted which is 60% Merino Wool, 20% Yak, 20% Linen.
I have finished 13 of the 46 granny squares that I need to make. After that, I will need to make 14 half granny triangles and 2 quarter granny triangles.
KNIT GROUP AND GALLERY
My sister Mary sent me the photos for 3 finished projects! This is her first Sommerknus by Elsebeth Judith.
Mary knit a second Sommerknus! Both are knit in Sandnes Garn Line, one in 3021 Beige and one in 1099 Black.
Mary also finished her second Forest Glass by This.Bird.Knits looking very different with the smaller 4.0 mm needles instead of the 5.0 mm used for her first Forest Glass.
She used Estelle Eco Tweed DK and The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light.
Jane finished her 1713-01 Blomsterjakke by Sandnes Garn using Sisu. Unfortunately, she says it turned out too small for her and she is planning to make the next one on her knitting machine instead.
Rosemary (@coolknitsbyrose) finished this beautiful Spindrift Shawl by Helen Stewart.
Jen (zjewell) finished her stunning Glittering Snowscape Shawl by Stephen West.
