It was wet outside today but not as hot! We really shouldn't complain though because it could be hotter with no air conditioning! I am truly thankful that most of us have the luxury of being able to stay inside where it is dry and cool.
Ooh La La by Isabell Kraemer is not a new pattern but it has been on my favorites list since I first saw it. It is worked from the top down seamlessly but flat featuring a lace pattern panel in the front. Knitting starts with the cast on of the shoulders for the back. Once the short row shaped shoulder slope is done, the back is worked flat to underarm. Shoulder stitches are picked up to work the front to the same length. At underarm both front and back are joined to work the body top down in rounds to the bottom hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the arm openings to work the sleeves (short or long) top down in rounds. Neck finishing is worked last.

I love the sleeveless version by imlovinknit.
YARN SUGGESTIONS: Sandnes Garn Tynn Line, Hikoo Cobasi, SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock
The Rock It Tee by Tanis Lavallee is another favourite! It is a staple, go-to, v-neck tee that she chose to create tone on tone stripes by alternating between fingering and mohair yarn but this basic shape lends itself to infinite possibilities when it comes to stripes and colour blocking.
SIZES
Finished measurement: 32 (35, 38, 41, 44, 48) (52, 56, 60, 64, 68)” at bust.
#sizeinclusive
Sample is shown with about 6” of positive ease.
The sizes are the actual finished measurement of the garment. Select a size that is 6” larger than your actual chest measurement to achieve the recommended ease.
GAUGE
24 sts and 32 rows = 4” square in stockinette stitch knit in the round and flat. Same gauge for both yarns.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
3.75mm (US 5) 24 or 32” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
YARN
Approximately 325 (350, 380, 415, 455, 495) (535, 590, 635, 690, 725) yds of each (you will use slightly less yardage of the non-edging yarn, sample has edgings worked in mohair held double)
or 650 (700, 760, 830, 910, 990) (1070, 1180, 1270, 1380, 1450) yds in total
My sister and I are both wearing one of our Rock It Tees by Tanis Lavallee! We liked the pattern so much that we have both knit three of them.
For this one above, I used fingering and mohair as designed with 8 row stripes while for the grey one above (where I am with my sister) has 4 row stripes. I also knit one without mohair.
YARN SUGGESTIONS: Lichen and Lace Mohair and 80/20 Sock Sets
