Camay (Purlificknitter) knit her test knit with short sleeves.
For the yoke, she held a strand of mohair double with her main yarn. For a similar look, you could use Rowan Cotton Cashmere, Garnstudio Drops Lima, Drops Sky and Drops Kid Silk for the mohair.
Su Yan (thedragonknitter) knit her version using a tweedy yarn. For a similar tweedy effect, use The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light or Rowan Felted Tweed.
FOs and WIPs
With my two sisters and brother-in-law here until Saturday, I didn't knit as much. This was my progress on my Step by Step Cardigan by Florence Miller. I am using Rowan Fine Tweed Haze in 04 Verd held double with Drops Kid Silk in 19 Dark Green.
When I started the ribbing, I decided to modify mine to add pockets. At both front edges, I purled 14 stitches, took 24 stitches off onto waste yarn, thumb cast on 24 stitches and purled the rest. On the following righr side row, I started the 1x1 ribbing. Right now, I have 3.25 inches of ribbing. I will rib for 4 or 4.5 inches.
