The Koivua Light is a sport weight variation of my popular Koivua sweaters. This version is more fitted with slightly different colorwork and features options for long or short sleeves. Koivua Light is knit top down in the round and features a colorwork yoke and hem design. This sweater is easily customizable to provide the best possible fit. Please see the schematic for full fit details. Instructions are included in the pattern to make length adjustments.
Sizes:
Measurements given are for the finished garment. This sweater is designed to fit with 7.5-10.5” 19-26.75 cm of positive ease at the bust and 1.5-2.5” 4-6.5 cm of positive ease at the upper arm.

Sample pictured is a size M on a model with a 36” 91.5 cm bust, worn with 10” 25.5 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE
22 sts and 34 rounds = 4” 10 cm in stockinette and colorwork pattern on main needles after blocking
Note- You should always knit your swatch the same way that the pattern is knit—in this case, in the round. Block your swatch as you will your finished garment and allow it to dry fully before measuring.
Kits include: Kelbourne Woolens Andorra and Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Starke 6 (quantities below for sizes 2-3) OR The Fibre Company Amble and Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Starke 6 (quantities for sizes 1-2). Pattern and needles are NOT included.
Using the Andorra Option: If making size 3 - add 1 more of MC; If making sizes 4 or 5 - add 1 more of the MC and CC; If making sizes 6-9 - add 2 more of MC and 1 more CC; if making size 10 - add 3 more of MC and 1 of CC. Please note that if you are making modifications to length, you may need more.
