Sandnes Garn Tynn Line has landed in the shop! This lovely combination of cotton, linen and viscose has the drape and structure of linen with the softness and workability of cotton. The fingering weight is perfect for fine garnments, but also works well with looser styled shawls, or plied with other yarns.

Koigu April Collector’s Club yarns have landed in the shop! The Aprill colour fore Koigu Othello is April Showers and the April colour for KPPPM is Snow Tulip.

WIPs and FOs

I finished and blocked my second Rock It Tee by Tanis Lavallee. I knit 8 rows/rounds of each colour throughout and using one skeein of each colour, I had enough yarn to knit 13 colour changes. I only had a few grams left of each!

I cast on the Wilson Top by Allyson Dykhuizen yesterday using Hikoo Concentric Cotton in Nautical.

This heavy fingering/sport weight yarn is made of super-soft 100% Pima Cotton dyed in stunning color gradients and only one skein is needed for a perfect gradient colorway fade. Please note that larger sizes will have less yardage to add length.

Last week I thought I had messed up somewhere on my Blomsterjakke but I hadn’t! I am now working on my second repeat! The pattern is still available for free on Ravelry!

KNIT GROUP AND GALLERY

The current Knit-Alongs are the Any Sweater / Shawl KAL and the Knit Your Project: the everlasting knit-along to encourage and support you to knit is running from January 1 to April 30, 2021.

Remember to post photos to the finished object (FO) thread HERE when you finish a project during the Knit-Along so that you will be included in the next draw! We will also add the option of posting your finished project to Instagram using the #sue2knitskal so that I can find them!

Linda (lmcnorton) finished her Comfort Fade Cardi by Andrea Mowry! She finished it in less than three weeks!

Jen (zjewell) also finished her Comfort Fade Cardigan by Andrea Mowry! She loves it so much that she has cast on another one!

VIRTUAL SOCIAL KNITTING

Virtual social knitting using the Zoom app! It has been a great way to knit together through social distancing! Join in with us either Tuesday afternoon from 2 - 4 pm or Thursday nights from 7 - 9 pm. We are continuing to hold our Zoom meetings each week until we can meet again in person.
