WIPs and FOs
I don't have any finished projects this week and my Tegna by Caitlin Hunter has been set aside...
I cast on a new project! I am test knitting Daintylion designed by Rebecca McKenzie of Raging Purlwind (@ragingpurlwind) using The Fibre Co. Cirro in Angelic. The pattern is expected to be released in September. This is the first time I using a picot cast on.
I actually had a bit of trouble with the beginning of the yoke, misreading the section after the first increase round. I had to frog back from 198 stitches of the second increase back to the 132 stitches of the first increase.
Isn't the lace yoke gorgeous? I am loving the pattern already!
This yoked sweater #daintylionsweater is worked from the top down starting with the picot cast on. The Fibre Co. Cirro is a dream to work with although not the easiest for frogging back but it makes a beautiful fabric.
