It is so wet out there! I can't can't think of anything better than to get cozy with your knitting or crocheting and spend some time making. It is 8 weeks until Christmas!
Yes, I would wear a tee under a cardigan!
The Sea Glass Tee by Wool & Pine is an epic stashbuster worked seamlessly, top-down in the round featuring short sleeves and an easy to wear, relaxed silhouette. A super fun 1x1 colorwork pattern offers endless opportunities to use up fingering weight scraps, minis and stash yarn. BONUS there are absolutely NO ENDS TO WEAVE IN (video tutorial included) and your tee is totally REVERSIBLE!
Sea Glass is knit using fingering weight stash yarn, leftovers and mini skeins. Have fun playing with color, build a palette that expresses your personality and embrace the random beauty of your stash! We can’t wait to see the wearable art you create!
Pattern includes 7 video tutorials with tips on how to create your One-of-a-kind Sea Glass Tee, Tips for Stashbusting & Building Color Palettes, Choosing the right size for optimum fit and more! For a preview of the fit video included with the pattern visit our linked website.
The recommended needle sizes are 3.5 mm (US 4) and 3.75 mm (US 5) or as required for a gauge of 28 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in stranded stockinette stitch with the larger needles.

A Christmas sweater??? Jingle by Isabell Kraemer can certainly be knit with holiday colours but I have seen many of the finished projects where the motif has become just a motif and doesn’t look Christmasy!
Jingle is worked seamlessly from the top down. First some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the yoke is worked top down, in the round, to sleeve separation. Some last short rows are worked to finish the yoke shaping right before sleeve stitches are placed on hold, then the body is worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last. No finishing required.

My grandson was wearing a hoodie with dragon scales along the hood and back when I saw him last Sunday!
He wants me to make him a Wee Balaclava by mama cerise modified using pfong001 on Ravelry’s mods for the dragon spikes. Pictured are the ones knit by tanisfibrearts for her boys.
The pattern is a free Ravelry download and uses a 100g skein of worsted weight yarn and some smaller amounts for the spikes..

I finished my Gnorwen, the All Work, Gnome Play by Sarah Schira…a week late for the KAL finish date. I decided to use the leftover stash from my other gnomes for this oone instead of my Gnome Kit from Ancient Arts Yarn which I will save for thee next one!
Here are the four gnomes that I have knit so far! Aren't they fun!
Last Saturday afternoon I cast on Stria by Andrea Mowry. I am using Tukuwool Fingeering and Schoppel Wolle Zauberball.
Using the self striping Zauberball means there will be fewer ends to weave in! I am enjoying seeing how each stripe has been unfolding.
This morning, I changed my 30 inch cable to a 50 inch cable so that I could spread my stitches apart. For my size, there are ten stripes before I separate the sleeves from the body.
The Instafriends KAL Cast On Party will be Saturday, October 30th at 3:00 pm EST on Instagram Live (you should be able to join from any of our feeds!) with Andrea.
