It has been so cold, every day is a good day to get cozy and knit. Are you knitting sweater weather sweaters or cardigans or are you anticipating spring and planning your warm weather knits while you work on your wips?
The stunning Study Session sweater by Samantha Guerin is a drop shoulder sweater worked from the top down. The back of the sweater is cast on at the shoulders. Left and right front shoulders are picked up from the cast on edge and worked flat with shaping for the neckline. Sweater front and back are worked flat to the sleeve depth and then the body is joined to work in the round. Sleeves are picked up and knit from the top down. The sleeves can be knit with or without decreases for your desired fit. The body hem and sleeve cuffs are finished with 1x1 rib and a tubular bind off. The neckband is a folded 1x1 rib.
