It was looking a little like spring outside but then it was snowing and now it has stopped! There is also water everywhere because of the recent rains and melting snow. With this in mind, are you ready to start your warm weather knitting projects or will you continue your cozy projects for a few more weeks?
HOLD THE LINE by Sonder Yarn Co. is light and airy sweater that combines the delicate texture of laceweight yarn held together with mohair, creating a soft, fluffy fabric with beautiful drape. This flattering raglan design is knit from the top down and features wide, modern stripes that add a playful touch to the classic silhouette. The collar is folded and two sleeve options are provided — choose between a straight sleeve with a loose cuff or a slight balloon sleeve with a snug cuff.
SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7, 8)
Finished circumference:
43 (46.75, 50.75, 53.75) (56, 59, 61.25, 64.25)”
110 (119, 129, 137) (143, 150, 156, 164) cm
Measurements above are given for the finished circumference measured at underarms. This sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 8-10” / 20 - 25.5 cm of positive ease; however, this is just a guide. Some people prefer a closer fit; do not be afraid to select an option that provides somewhat less than the suggested ease according to your preferences.
YARN
C1: 539 (606, 668, 717) (768, 828, 868, 930) yds / 493 (554, 611, 655) (702, 757, 794, 850) m

AND the following amounts of fluffy laceweight yarn
C1: 539 (606, 668, 717) (768, 828, 868, 930) yds / 493 (554, 611, 655) (702, 757, 794, 850) m
C2: 525 (585, 631, 696) (727, 788, 838, 883) yds / 480 (535, 577, 636) ( 665, 720, 766, 807) m
Notes:
1 strand each of heavy laceweight and fluffy laceweight yarn are held together throughout for both C1 and C2.
If working the pattern with a single strand of Sport weight yarn, then you will need yardage equivalent to one yarn quality in C1 and C2.
Body and sleeves can be lengthened or shortened by working more or less rounds before starting the ribbing. Adding length will affect yardage requirements.
NEEDLES
3.75 mm (US 5), 4.0 mm (US 6), 4.5 mm (US 7)
GAUGE
21 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette
SUGGESTED YARN
Garnstudio Drops Sky (held single), WYS Exquisite Lace held double with Drops Kid Silk or Malabrigo Silkpaca.
Heimathafen by Isabell Kraemer is worked seamlessly from the top down.
The beautiful allover “dip stitch colorwork”-stripe pattern highlights the round yoke construction and results in a classic but modern sailor pullover.
Starting with the neck shaping, short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck. The yoke is then worked in the round to sleeve separation. Increases are worked in the main color part of the yoke. The lower part of the yoke is shaped with raglan increases. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down. The 7/8 sleeves (feel free to reduce/add length) are worked top down in rounds to the cuffs. No finishing required.

FOs and WIPs
I took this progress photo Sunday morning of my Aros Sweater by PetiteKnit. I knit the first sleeve to the second last stripe before the cuff and then knit the second sleeve sleeve which I finished before going back to finish the first sleeve. I worked the hem ribbing last. I bound off both sleeves and the bottom hem using a sewn kitchener stitch bind off on 2 needles. Sorry...but I can never focus enough to do it on a single needle!!
I love the saddle shoulders. They move all of the increases to the shoulders instead of around the front and back.
I am very happy with how it fits me and love how the colours worked together! I used Hedgehog Tweedy in Noir, Dreaming in Light, Natural and Bliss.
Yesterday, I picked up and made a little more progress on my Art Nouveau Sweater by Elenor Mortensen - my Galentine's Day cast on. I changed to a 47" cable when I started the day but I already need to change to a longer cable again so I can spread my stitches out.
I love using Schoppel Wolle Admiral Starke 6 for the dark blue and Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Starke 6 for the lovely pinks!
