It has been too hot or wet to be outdoors for too long with the recent humidity and recent rains but it has been the perfect excuse to knit indoors! Summer makes using linen, cottons or fingering weight yarns more enjoyable to work with!
Beautyberry by Jamie Hoffman is a slightly cropped tank featuring a triangular lace panel with easy cables that is worked only in the front, and both charts and written instructions for the panel are included. Instructions for how to add length are included.
Construction is from the bottom up and is worked in one piece. At the armhole separation, the front and back are worked back and forth separately, and the shoulders are grafted together.

The Hazel Shorties includes 4 widths (60 sts / 64 sts / 68 sts / 72 sts), so there is room for every size foot and every yarn. You can choose the length yourself, the attached size chart will help you.
The pattern is written very detailed and chronological from the cuff to the toe. There are also helpful videos.

I hadn’t touched my gnome since June 14th but I finally picked up the last clue and finished my The More You Gnome this morning!!
First Gnifty had coffee with me and now he wants my cakes of yarn!! I used stash yarn taken from two Gnome Kits from Ancient Arts Yarn.
I took this of my Aallokko by Tiina Huhtaniemi for Tukuwool test knit on Monday after separating the body and the sleeves.
I took this one today. Next time, I’ll have enough knit that I can take a photo with it on me!
My Serkinet by Kate Davies is on sleeve island…I’m on round 7 of the third sleeve chart repeat using two 24 inch circulars.
For this session of our Top Down Pullover class starting tomorrow afternoon, we are knitting Sunshine Coast by Heidi Kirrmaier. I knit my swatch which has been blocked, cast on and started while using the magic loop method. I decided to use Juniper Moon Zooey.
This is the Sunshine Coast I knit in 2018 using Berroco Remix Light.
