WIPs and FOs

Each year I see Instagram posts of knitters with the projects they finished that year. Here are nine of that I finished in 2023.

I have started my hem ribbing on my Growing by Lone Kjeldsen! I can’t wait to work on the pockets though. The cardigan pockets look so droopy with them on waste yarn.

KNIT GROUP AND GALLERY

My sister Mary finished her stunning Lumme by Sari Norund. She knit hers using West York Spinners Blue Faced Leicester Aran.

This is the Ninilchik Swoncho by Caitlin Hunter that my sister knit in 2023 using The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light. Kits can be found HERE.

Claudia (@cgriffs01) finished this lovely Little Oysters by Hinterm Stein with bobbles instead of the ‘0ysters’ Yarn is Garnstudio Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk.

Sonia (Soniabknits) knit this outfit for the mannequin on her daughter’s office desk. The sweater pattern is from the book Mouche & Friends by Cinthia Vallet.

Jan (mrsjanknits) knit three pairs of Magic of Spring Mitts by Monika Anna. She used KITS from the shop with Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight.

Here's a close up of one of the pairs. Her daughters and daughter-in-law loved them.

Kay (83krobbins) recently finished a new pair of socks.

Carol (knittoatea) finished this pretty pair of Geek Socks by Wei S. Leong. She knit the afterthought heels when she took our Afterthought Heel Workshop.

Lise (Mattedcat) knit these three baby cardigans using a personal pattern.

Tammy (iw8iknit) finished this Argyle Pluviae Best by Bana Kavanagh for her daughter using Berroco Remix Light held double.
