WIP's and FO's

I finished my Rainier by Kate Gagnon Osborn but now it is too warm to wear it until next fall!I knit it using Kelbourne Woolens Scout and I love, love, love it!

I actually did wear it yesterday because it really was a damp and chilly day! The yarn was such a dream to knit with and even though I still have not blocked it, it is super soft and wearable.

I am so glad that I decided to make the main colour the dark charcoal and the contrast colour the lighter gray!

This was my progress on my Odyssey Shawl by Joji on Wednesday!

I can’t wait to see how the lace blocks out! I was so worried playing yarn chicken that I know I tightened up on the lace. Check out how little is on my cake and at the time I still had about 6 more rows.

Last night, I was up to the start of the lace section of colour 2! I am knitting mine with Rowan Creative Linen which is a 50/50 blend of cotton and linen instead of wool and happy with how it feels already!

KNIT GROUP AND GALLERY

I haven't decided on the next knit along but it will most likely be from May 1 until August 31st. Any suggestions to change it up? Perhaps a Andrea Mowry's Nightshift Knit-Along? Or we can do Casapinka's Magical Thinking KAL? Or a summer sweater? There are several Sunshine Coast by Heidi Kirrmaier and Tegna by Caitlin Hunter sweaters on our needles!
