The annual Local Yarn Store Day is on Saturday, April 29th - TOMORROW from 10 am until 4 pm! This year ALL four Windsor-Essex yarn stores are participating in the Windsor-Essex Yarn Crawl!
Sue2Knits and Yarn, Little Sheep Yarn Boutique, The Hook Pusher and Shall We Knit are all excited to be participating in the annual Local Yarn Store Day on Saturday, April 29th - TOMORROW from 10 am until 4 pm!
LYS Day is a wonderful way for customers to show the love for their local yarn shops and for yarn shops to thank their customers for their continued support. Get in on the fun and make LYS Day 2023 an event to remember!
What to expect at Sue2Knits for LYS Day 2023:
- There will be yummy goodies. This event will be indoors but you can bring a chair and sit out back to social knit together too. At the end of the day, we will stay open for a extra KNIT Night until 6 pm (at least)!

We will have Koigu’s LYS Day 2023 Special Collector’s Colours. Grass in Speckles is in stock. Backorders are allowed for Cedar in Speckles and Water in Speckles (20 each coming soon).
We will have Koigu’s LYS Day 2023 special Paint Cans with five 25g mini skeins each. Backorders are allowed for orders on LYS day.
Each paint can comes with the pattern for the Koigu Brave Kerchief.
We will have a few of the Koigu LYS Day 2023 Pencil Boxes in End of Day. Backorders are allowed for orders on LYS day.

Berroco’s LYS Day 2023 Pattern with purchase is Brick and Mortar designed by Mel Kennedy. The pattern includes a knit and a crocheted version using Berroco Ultra Alpaca, one skein for the knit and 2 skeins for the crocheted version.

You will need approximately 566 yards (518 m) of DK weight yarn. The suggested needle size is 5.5 mm (US 9) for a gauge of 18 stitches and 21 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch, worked flat, blocked.
