We all woke up to snow this morning!! It is only the 9th of November so I think Ed is happy that he started putting up our Christmas lights yesterday...He hasn't finished yet but he doesn't want to put them up after it snows!

It seems early, Christmas movies have started and Christmas music...But really, it is not too early to start your Christmas shopping for that special gift for your knitter / crocheter / crafter or of course, for yourself!

Knit 2 - Hat using Purl Soho’s Classic Cuffed Hat pattern

It isn't too late to sign up for this beginner class! It is Knit 2 - our Hat Class where you learn to cast on with circular needles, to join in the round, to switch to double pointed needles, and to make decreases. Once you are comfortable with this, we will knit a basic ribbed hat. Classes start Tuesday evening, November 13 and 20 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm or again in February on Saturdays, February 2 & 9 – 10 am to 12 pm.

Sock Classes start November 17th

The Basic Sock Class is coming up soon too! Saturdays, November 17, 24 and December 1 – 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

WIP's and FO's

I finished my Ranunculus and worn it already even though I haven't soaked and blocked it yet! I just could not resist!

Very happy with my Ranunculus!

I lengthened the body, making it 7" and the ribbing for 3" instead of the 4" before the ribbing but I still think I may frog it back and add at least another 3" before the ribbing. I made the sleeves 45 rows before doing the i-cord bind off for 3/4 length sleeves.

A few inches remain and I will have my Follow your Dreams fingerless mitts finished using Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight.
