Sweater weather is here and what is more perfect than having the Lopi Trunk Show arrive in the shop! There are 6 garments from Lopi Book 39 in Lettlopi, Alafosslopi, Plottulopi and Einband.

Istex Lopi Yarns is located in Iceland and has been manufacturing hand knitting yarns since 1896. Best known for their Álafosslopi yarn the company makes all their products from 100% Icelandic wool. Lopi purchases their wool directly from Iceland farmers then spins, dyes and processes it into yarns all at their own manufacturing plant. The company produces knitting yarn made of Icelandic wool, for example, Álafosslopi, Einband, Jöklalopi, Léttlopi, and Plötulopi.

Are you still craving stripes? This is DAA (don’t ask again) by Isabell Kraemer! It is the light version of the Don’t Ask Cardigan. DAA is a cute and classic striped cardigan worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is shaped by using a modified version of the contiguous set-in sleeves method developed by Susie Myers. When the yoke shaping is complete, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the underarm stitches are cast on. Then the body is worked back and forth to the ribbing. Instructions for optional pockets are also provided. Button bands and neck finishing are worked next. Then the sleeve stitches are picked up to work them in rounds top down to the cuffs.
