I look forward to fall so much with that wonderful change in seasons. We've been spending as much time as possible on the back patio knitting and as the weather cools, it's hard to think about not being able to have our knit afternoons and nights. Since sweater weather is here, let's take advantage of our remaining outdoor knitting opportunities.

LOCAL YARN STORE DAY!

Save the Date - Local Yarn Store Day which was postponed to September 12, 2020 because of COVID-19. More info to follow!

Join us for Local Yarn Store Day this Saturday, September 12, 2020 both in-store from 10 until 4 and online. Every purchase made between September 12 to September 14th will be entered in draws that I will make on Tuesday!

There will be special LYS Day Kits from Manos Del Uruguay for the Opalite LYS Day 2020 Shawl. The included pattern was offered in celebration of LYS Day but it is NOT available on Ravelry.

The special LYS Day Koigu Collector’s Colour Moors of Scotland!

This is this year’s Koigu LYS Collector’s Colourway - Moors of Scotland for the shop.

There will be lots and lots of kits! yarns and accessories! The Kentia Wrap is a Koigu/ Ambah O'Brien collaboration to be released September 2020. Designed with a Koigu pencil box set featuring 10 colours, paired with a contrasting lighter colour to make the set shine. The Kentia Wrap is a project using a simple mosaic knitting a technique. The Kits be found HERE.

There are a few kits for Susurrus by Joji Locatelli - only one left in the original yarn and colours!

The Atlantica Pullover by Audrey Borrego Kit is found in the newest Pom Pom Quarterly Issue 34: Autumn 2020 to be released September 21st! The Kits are for Size 3 so order extra extra yarn as required for your size.

The KITS for PetiteKnits Sunday Sweater are for the XS/S size using Berroco Brielle. For the larger sizes, add more hanks to your order. You will need approx 1 more for size M, 2 more for L and XL, 3 more for 2XL and 4 more for 3XL.

This adorable Katrinkles LYS Yarn & Notions Stitch Markers-Limited Edition set features yarn and notions stitch markers. This parade of yarn and notions includes drawings of a cake of yarn, a set of circular needles, crochet hook, measuring tape, sewing needle and thread, double pointed needle holder with gauge swatch ruler, and scissors.

I have put together a few Hudson Bay Baby Blanket Kits which includes nine hanks of Berroco Vintage.This blanket/throw is in the tradition of the Hudson Bay stripe pattern. The included printed pattern is by Sheila Griffith. You can use this kit to knit Purl Soho’s Hudson’s Bay Inspired Crib Blanket but you may need one more hank of white. To knit Hudson Meets Sochi Throw / Blanket by 2Grrls, which is knit in the double-knit method you will need five more hanks of white.

There are more Turtle Dove II by Espace Tricot Kits in Drops Air available! Remember that you can add more balls of yarn if you are making a different size or version!
